1. Juhu Beach

Locals and tourists alike enjoy Mumbai's most popular beach. Juhu Beach attracts everyone from early joggers to beach bums to kids who wish to play beach cricket or football. While weekends might be overcrowded, any weekday morning is an excellent time to explore this beach. 2. Aksa Beach

Aksa Beach is a popular area in Malad's Aksa village, which is dotted with private houses and hotels. At one end of the beach is INS Hamla and at the other end is Dana Paani, a little beach. Aksa is busy with vacationing families and students on Sundays and holidays.

3. Madh Island

Situated near Andheri, Versova Beach offers mesmerising vistas of the Arabian Sea at sunrise and sunset point. The near-secluded coast of this beach is a continuation of Mumbai’s iconic Juhu Beach, from which it is separated by a creek. Populated mostly by couples and youngsters, Versova Beach is a mix of sandy and rocky landscape and considered one of the cleanest beaches in Mumbai.

5. Mumbai Chowpatty

Mumbai Chowpatty

While this small beach may not be everyone's first option for reading a book, it could be an excellent spot for a local beach snack or flavoured soft drink. Tourists and locals alike travel to this sandy beach to watch the sun set into the Arabian Sea and appreciate the gleaming cityscape.
