Gurudwara Shri Ber Sahib is located on the banks of River Kali Bein and is immensely significant in the Sikh religion. It holds great importance as Guru Nanak Ji meditated under a Ber tree at the premises for 14 years, as per scriptures. It is believed that his spiritual awakening began with a three-day immersion in the river, culminating in his profound teaching, “There is no Hindu, no Muslim.” The revered Gurdwara, erected by the Maharaja of Kapurthala, honours this transformative moment. It features breathtaking architectural details like marble, octagonal pillars, and intricate stucco work. This iconic Sikh shrine is believed to embody unity and equality.
