Amitabh Bachchan's Business Pitch Leaves Shark Tank India 2 Judges Impressed

Ahead of Shark Tank India season 2 premiere, the 'sharks' - Anupam Mittal, Namita Thapar, Peyush Bansal, Vineeta Singh, Aman Gupta and Amit Jain appeared on the sets of Kaun Banega Crorepati during the finale week.

During this special episode, the quiz show host, Amitabh Bachchan made a pitch to the sharks for his product –AB tissue.

Amitabh Bachchan's Pitch To The Sharks

In the new promo of the finale episode now going viral on social media, we see Bachchan pitching his product, AB tissue to the sharks. Those who have been religiously following KBC know that the product is previously tested on multiple contestants who appeared on the show.

In the promo, Amitabh Bachchan said, "I have brought this product, especially for women - the AB tissue." He shared that the first round of trials of the tissue happened on the sets of the show. He further questioned the sharks if they would be interested to invest in the product. Quickly to which Anupam Mittal replied that any product sold in Amitabh Bachchan's name will be easily able to rope in about ₹100 Crores.

Bachchan jokingly then asked the sharks if he could get 25 percent of the 100 cCrores as a signing amount now.

Shark Tank India Season 2

After a successful run of season 1, the makers are all set to bring back the second season of the show. For the unversed, Shark Tank India is a business reality television series that airs on Sony TV. The show is an Indian franchise of the popular American show, Shark Tank.

The second season is rumoured to be launched in the first week of January. This year, the judges of the show are Amit Jain, CEO and Co-founder, CarDekho Group and InsuranceDekho.com, Vineeta Singh, Co-founder and CEO of SUGAR Cosmetics, Aman Gupta, Co-fFounder and CMO of boAt, Namita Thapar, Executive Director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals, Peyush Bansal, Founder & CEO of Lenskart.com and Anupam Mittal, Founder and CEO of Shaadi.com - People Group. Amit Jain is the only new member joining the sharks' panel this season.

Ashneer Grover who became a household name after his appearance on Shark Tank India season 1 will not be a part of season 2. Recently in an interview, Namita Thapar, one of the judges on the show shared that his absence won't affect the show. New shark, Amit Jain on reports of him replacing Ashneer Grover on the show said that he is just a new shark on the show who is looking forward to adding a new dimension to the show.
