When it comes to enhancing the beauty of skin, there is hardly any amazing ingredient as mulethi. From bringing a glow to your face to getting rid of skin darkening on elbows and knees, this herb can assist with all. If you are tired of dull and dark skin on your knees and elbows, try these simple home remedies, and bid adieu to black patches.  

Mulethi & Honey Pack

Mulethi & Honey Pack

While mulethi will gently lighten your skin, honey on the other hand will soothe the upper layer to keep it from any damage. You must take care of the skin even on the knees and elbows as you do for the face for glow and softness. Here’s to make a honey mulethi pack. 

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons of mulethi powder 
  • 3 tablespoons of honey
  • 2 tablespoons of rose water

  • Mix mulethi powder and honey in a bowl. 
  • Add rose water to make a thick paste.
  • Mix well to remove any lumps in the mixture. 
  • Use a brush to apply the mixture evenly on your knees and elbows. 
  • Allow the pack to dry on the skin. Let it sit for about 20 minutes. 
  • Wash your knees and elbows with normal water. 
  • Scrub gently while doing so. 
  • Pat dry and apply hydrating moisturiser. 

Mulethi & Orange Face Pack

Since the skin on the knees and elbows are thick in comparison to the upper layer of the face, you will need stronger agents to remove the dark spots and clear the pores. Orange is loaded with vitamin C (homemade vitamin C serum), whereas mulethi is packed with a unique active compound called Glabridin. It assists in reducing the formation of pigmentation and also lightens it. 

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon of mulethi powder
  • 1 tablespoon orange peel powder 
  • 1 tablespoon of rose water

  • If you don’t have orange peel powder, make it by drying the orange peel under sunlight and then grind it. 
  • Take a mixing bowl, add mulethi and orange peel powder to it.
  • Mix both together and add rose water to make a thick paste. 
  • Make sure there are no lumps in the mixture. 
  • Use your fingers or a brush to apply the pack evenly. 
  • Once done, let it sit for another 15-20 minutes. 
  • Wash your knees and elbows with normal water. 
  • Pat dry and finish off with a hydrating moisturiser.
