HZ Tried & Tested: Cetaphil Pro Oil Control Face Purifying Mask Detailed Review

It is once again that time of the year when all those blessed with oily and sensitive skin like me would struggle with skin issues like blackheads, breakouts, dullness among others.

Anyone who is blessed with naturally oily skin knows the challenges that the hot season brings along. That's one reason why I started hunting for new products quite early this time. I got my hands on this clay mask from Cetaphil recently which claimed to control all the oil and reduce that shine from the face.

I have tried this clay mask thrice and have a detailed review to share. Read on.

My Experience

All those blessed with oily skin hunt for face masks that control excess oil production on the skin while also not leaving our skin dry and flaky. For me, this was that perfect face mask. Honestly, I was sceptical when I was first using this face mask. I wasn't sure if it will really reduce excess oil and shine from my face. Also, if it will be gentle enough for my sensitive skin and this clay mask didn't disappoint.

After using this face mask, my skin felt soft and smooth, like never before. So, the problem area, the T zone of my face showed no sign of oil. I could feel freshness on my face like a layer of dead skin cells got lifted away.

Another thing I liked about using this clay mask is that you don't have to take out a lot of time to use it. Like traditional face masks, you don't need to spend hours to get results from this product. I used this face mask 5-10 minutes before I headed for my shower and it worked well. If not 30 minutes or an hour, we can all take out 5-10 minutes from our busy routine for our skin. Right?

How To Use?

This clay mask is quite easy to use. With the help of the spatula, apply a thin layer of the mask all over your face and neck. Make sure your face is clean. Keep it on for 5 to 10 minutes and then wash off with warm water. Pat dry. This face mask can be used up to 3 times a week.
