Katrina Kaif Pays Tribute To Husband Vicky Kaushal's Punjabi Roots
Katrina Kaif opted for a traditional red lehenga from the house of Sabyasachi Mukherjee in handwoven matka silk with fine tilla work. As shared by the designer on his Instagram post, Katrina Kaif paid homage to the groom, Vicky Kaushal's Punjabi family with her veil which was custom-trimmed with handmade kiran in hand-beaten silver electroplated in gold.
That's not all! Katrina Kaif also paid tribute to her mother's British heritage during the pre-wedding festivities. She wore a vintage-inspired saree that silhouetted like a white wedding gown. The saree featured hand-cut English flowers. It was embroidered with precious gems and crystals. It took the designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee, over 1,800 hours and 40 artisans to create this masterpiece.
Deepika Padukone And Ranveer Singh's Konkani - Sindhi Wedding
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's intimate wedding at Lake Como is still talked about. The two had a Sindhi and Konkani wedding with both the partners paying homage to their respective roots.

For the Udida Muhurat which is an important ritual in Konkani weddings, the couple was seen grinding black gram or udidu in a stone grinder. As per traditions, it is a way of welcoming the bride into the home and kitchen. The groom also takes part in the ritual to show that he will also help the bride with the household duties. Later, the couple was seen sharing a meal served on banana leaves which is a traditional Konkani meal style.
For the Sindhi ceremony, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone wore color-coordinated outfits. While Deepika Padukone wore a traditional red lehenga, Ranveer Singh wore a red and gold sherwani.

Yami Gautam and Aditya Dhar tied the knot in a low-key ceremony in the former's hometown Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. Yami Gautam belongs to Himachal Pradesh but along with imbibing her own traditions, she also paid homage to her husband Aditya Dhar's family.
Yami Gautam wore Aatheru which is traditionally worn by married Kashmiri women. It is made of gold and is dangled from the piercings in the upper ear cartilage using a gold chain.
