Rakhi Sawant Has Decided To Split With Her Husband, Ritesh Singh. Here's All About It!

Rakhi Sawant has been a popular name in the entertainment industry for the longest time. Being the favourite contestant of India’s biggest reality show, Bigg Boss, she has made her appearances very occasionally in the house from the very first season.

We have seen a side of who she is with our most loved character, Julie to her evergreen self of Rakhi Sawant, the true entertainer. With season 15 in play, she finally made her entrance with her constantly spoken-off husband, Ritesh Singh.

Who Is Ritesh Singh?

Ritesh Singh entered the house of Bigg Boss in season 15 as the husband of Rakhi Sawant and with time, we saw a whole another personality to him. We saw this contestant being outrageously violent as well as highly disrespectful to the person he terms as his wife. Other contestants like Shamita Shetty and even the host, Salman Khan pointed out his behavior towards Rakhi Sawant before the contestant was evicted for receiving the least amount of votes from the public.

The Controversies

As he stepped out of the house, there were many controversies that followed him. His ex-wife made several allegations. The ex-wife brought forward pictures of their wedding and accused the ex-contestant of having beaten up the individual while they were married.

The two may not have legally gotten a divorce, but they have a child and Ritesh Singh was accused of not paying for the child or his needs.

Rakhi Sawant had disclosed not being legally married to the individual but wasn’t in touch with such information which had been brought to light after the reality show had been brought to an end in January 2022.

What Did Rakhi Sawant Have To Say?

Rakhi Sawant took it to her Instagram account to share a heartfelt note to her followers and loved ones on how she and Ritesh Singh had decided to take a split. It surely had been a hard decision for her but most definitely needed after what we saw on Bigg Boss!

Rakhi's note read, "Dear fans and well wishers, Just wanted to say that Ritesh and I have decided to part ways. After the Bigg Boss show, a lot has happened and I was unaware of certain things which were out of my control. We have tried to work out our differences and tried to make things work but I think it's best we both move on amicably and we both enjoy out lives separately."

She added, "I'm really sad and heartbroken this had to happen before Valentine's day but the decision had to be made. I wish Ritesh the best in life but for me at this stage in life I have to focus on my work and my life and keep myself happy and healthy. Thank you for understanding and supporting me always! - Rakhi Sawant."
