After a week-long trip to India with her family, Priyanka Chopra shared a sweet post with her husband Nick Jonas and daughter Malti Marie Jonas from LA. She captioned the post “Home ❤️🙏🏽💫🧿.”

Priyanka Chopra’s Visit To India

Priyanka Chopra returned to Los Angeles after visiting Mumbai, India. She visited India to promote her haircare brand Anomaly Haircare, which recently launched in India. Chopra visited India after almost three years. While here, as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador she also visited One Stop Centers and government establishments in Lucknow and other parts of Uttar Pradesh.

Looking at the work towards the education and upliftment of young girls and women from underprivileged backgrounds in rural landscapes, Chopra said, “The cycle may be slow, but there is progress. Schemes are in place and are being implemented. I hope India becomes a developed country from being a developing country.” She added, “I visited the model One Stop Centers, established by UNICEF and Government of India, where women beneficiaries are getting medical, physical, police and legal support. Apps have made it easy for anganwadi workers to keep track records. ATM Sakhi and bank correspondents are helping homemakers,” Hindustan Times reported.

Malti Marie Chopra Jonas

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas welcomed their first child Malti Marie Chopra Jonas on January 21, 2022. The couple took to their Instagram handles to share the news with the world. The actors wrote that she and Nick are ‘overjoyed’ as they welcome their baby via surrogacy. “We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on the family. Thank you so much".
