India's Sargam Koushal Wins Mrs World 2022; Here Are Pageant's Rules, Eligibility Criteria

Sargam Koushal from Jammu and Kashmir was recently crowned Mrs. World 2022 in Las Vegas. The 32-year-old bagged the title for India after 21 long years. In the year 2001, Aditi Govitrikar had brought the Mrs. India crown to the country. Koushal managed to beat contestants from 63 countries and made us all proud with her big win at the pageant.

Sargam Koushal has brought home the crown and we can't keep calm. Sargam Koushal is a post graduate in English Literature. She previously worked as a teacher in Vizag. Her husband works for the Indian Navy. On winning the title, Mrs. World 2022 said, “We've got the crown back after 21-22 years. I'm so excited. Love you India, love you world.”

For the unversed, Mrs. World is the first beauty pageant for married women. It was first introduced in 1984. Initially, the pageant was titled Mrs. Woman Of The World. However, a few years later, it was renamed to Mrs. World.
