RIP Legend: The Heartfelt Songs Of KK That Will Forever Rule Our Hearts

On the night of May 31, 2022, the world lost another gem who will live on in our hearts forever. Renowned Indian singer Krishnakumar Kunnath, popularly known by his stage name KK, died at the age of 53. However, he died while doing what he loved: performing in a concert, but left generations of people heart broken by the tragic news.

The playback singer was in Kolkata for a two-day concert when he became ill at a Nazrul Mancha event. After complaints of uneasiness, he was rushed to a private hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

KK was a versatile singer whose songs touched people's emotions and got him a fan following across generations. With his soulful songs, he created an unforgettable era, and we all grew up with him. The singer has left us today, but his legacy will live on.

KK's songs are our go-to tunes not just during love or friendship, but also during heartbreak. 'Such Keh Raha Hai' from the 2001 movie 'Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein' is one among such songs that also brings nostalgia. The type of magic created by KK in this song is really heart touching.

Ankhon Mein Teri

Another beautiful song done by the legendary vocalist KK is Ankhon Mein Teri from Om Shanti Om. Every line in the song has a magical effect to it, and I recall binge-listening to it when it first came out.

Pal

Pal is an incredible song, which was also the last song sung by the legendary singer KK. And now, more than ever, we can completely relate to it.
