Many of us spend a lot of time in front of our screens, whether for work, school, social media, or any other purpose, despite the fact that we are aware that excessive screen time can lead to a number of health problems. I understand that you can't completely eliminate your screen time since urgent work keeps popping up, but you can surely minimize the screen time, during which you scroll through social media or watch the same shows over and over.  It may appear challenging, but it is not impossible if you know the right tricks. Here are some tricks that can help you break the habit of staying glued to your screens and reduce your screen time:

1. Don't Take Phone To Bathroom

If you answered yes, you're probably also one of those people who take their phone to the bathroom with them and use it for a long time. Well the easiest way to break this habit is by going to the washroom without your phone. Take a book, magazine, or newspaper with you if you think you'll grow bored.

2. Use Apps To Limit Usage

There are various apps that will alert you if you use your phone for longer than your set time. These apps are quite useful since they will notify you when it is time to stop using screens.

6. Exercise As You Watch Screen, This Will Distract You

If you're watching something, start exercising as well. This will keep you from concentrating on the movie' video or series and instead help you live a healthy life.

The desire to use your screens will keep coming, but consistency and self-control will play a key role in all of this. If you are able to manage it and get into the habit of adopting healthier practices, you will see improvement in your urges.
