Obsessed with your diamond pieces? Well, who isn't? From your tennis bracelet to earrings, diamonds add a beautiful sparkle to your beauty. But be honest, how often do you take out time to clean them? Especially, if you wear your diamond jewellery AM to PM, your dearest jewellery pieces need a monthly cleaning.
Now if you head to a jeweller, you'd be asked to pay a big amount which might not be very pocket friendly. Instead, you could try some easy home remedies that help you cleanse all dirt and keep the shine intact.
This one is the easiest way to clean your diamond jewellery. In a bowl, add some water and add one teaspoon of dishwashing liquid. Add all your jewellery pieces to this soapy water. Using a toothbrush, clean your diamond jewellery. Make sure you are gentle while doing this. Once done, rinse thoroughly with warm water to get rid of all the soap. Place a clean paper or cloth towel on the table and put all your jewellery pieces over it. Let the jewellery get dry completely. If some jewellery pieces are dirtier, repeat the cleaning process.
In a bowl, add half a cup of white vinegar and 2 tablespoons of baking soda. Mix well. Soak in your diamond jewellery for at least one to two hours. Rinse your jewellery with cold water and dry it with a soft cloth.
