The Complete Holi Tray

Yes, you very well can do that. All you need is a tray, some colourful papers, some glasses or bowls to store the colours and a few popsicle sticks.
Start by making fans out of coloured papers, fold them in half and then join them to form a circular pattern. Attach the popsicle sticks to them. Make about five of them. Then take different colours and fill the bowls with them. Take a plate, place a coloured paper over it and keep sweets on it. Cut strips out of the coloured sheets of paper and arrange them on the tray. Take the fans and attach them to the tray too. Assemble the tray and add the colour names to the bowls with colour.
Paper Chains can amp up any empty space and can serve as the perfect backdrop for your holi pictures. All you need is glue, scissors and coloured papers. Cut the coloured paper into half, then cut out thin, 1 can strip out of it. Do this with all your papers and then take the strips and apply glue at the end of it, and stick making a circular ring. Take another strip and pass it through the ring and stick its ends too. Keep making the chain till you achieve the length you want.
