DD Ramayan's Raavan Aka Arvind Trivedi Gets Emotional While Watching 'Sita-Apaharan'

While the whole country is enjoying watching Doordarshan popular shows Ramayana, the actor who played the role of Raavan, Arvind Trivedi looked emotional and extremely grateful while he was watching one of the scenes on his television set. A video surfaced on the internet showcasing the 84-year-old artiste watching one of the famous scenes from the show. As the scene, wherein Raavan kidnaps Sita plays, the actor can be seen smiling and joining his hands. At the same time, he looked emotional. Back then, the effect of this particular scene was such that it made everyone feel down in the mouth. Seems like the scenario has not changed much. 

For the popular scene called 'Sita-Apaharan', the actor and the entire cast and crew garnered much appreciation. Also, on the video that was posted on photo and video sharing app, Instagram, there were floods of comments appreciating the veteran star. His fans wrote several heartfelt comments such as “Sir, I must say that you are one of the finest actors to have portrayed Ravan role. We love you Sir,” “Sir a big salute aap jaisa role koi ni nibha sakta,” “respect for his fine acting as Ravan & now even more respect for his simplicity and humbleness.”

The iconic show Ramayan by Ramanand Sagar is currently on its rerun on Doordarshan due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The show is breaking records and had garnered 170 million viewers in its early four shows. Also, the popularity of this show has made DD one of the most-watched channels currently in India. Not only the entire nation and Arvind Trivedi is enjoying watching the ever-popular show, but also another cast of the show is sticking to their television. 

Arun Govil, the actor who essayed the main role of Ram in the mythological drama is watching a rerun of Ramayan. And he is not doing this fun task alone, in fact, he along with his full family including the grandchildren are watching and going down the memory lane. A video of him too surfaced on the internet. And in no time it went viral with fans literally gushing over the post.
