Seems like forever since the world got struck by the pandemic of novel coronavirus that has infected millions across the globe so far. This not only includes common people, but also doctors, politicians, army personnel, and our beloved television and film stars.

While thousands of people have died after testing positive for COVID-19, none of the Indian celebrities have succumbed to the deadly virus, with the exception of music director Wajid Khan. This time right after our Former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh fell prey to the pandemic, our current CM Arvind Kejriwal's wife Sunita, and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi have tested positive.

Rahul Gandhi has tested positive for Covid. He took to his Twitter account and wrote: "After experiencing mild symptoms, I've just tested positive for COVID. As per news reports by several media houses, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's wife, Sunita Kejriwal has tested positive for Covid-19. This happened on Tuesday however, an official announcement is yet to be made. The CM has isolated himself after his wife's reports came positive.

Dr. Manmohan Singh

Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was admitted to AIIMS at 5 pm today and his condition stable, say doctors as per a report by Times Of India. He has tested Covid 19 positive and we wish him a speedy recovery.

Shubhangi hadn't been feeling good for the past few days and had taken a break from work. Yesterday, the actress took the RT-PCR test and the results revealed that she had contracted the coronavirus. As of now, the actor is observing home quarantine and is taking the medications prescribed by the doctor. On April 4, Akshay Kumar tweeted that he tested positive for the coronavirus. He announced the news on his Twitter handle.

He tweeted: "I wish to inform everyone that, earlier this morning, I have tested positive for COVID-19. Following all the protocols, I have immediately isolated myself. I'm under home quarantine and have sought necessary medical care."

He also asked the people who have been around him and have come in contact with him, to get themselves treated. He wrote: "I would sincerely request all those that have come in contact with me to get themselves tested and take care and added that he will be "Back in action very soon."

The greatest batsmen of India has fallen prey to Covid-19! He took to Twitter to share the news on March 27. He wrote: "I have been testing myself and taking all the recommended precautions to ensure Covid is kept at bay. However, I've tested positive today following mild symptoms. All others at home have tested negative. I've quarantined myself at home and am following all the necessary protocols as advised by my doctors."

R.Madhavan

Now R. Madhavan has become Covid-19 positive! The actor on Thursday night, posted the news on his Twitter. He wrote: "Farhan has to follow Rancho, and Virus has always been after us, but this time he bloody caught up. But all is well and the COVID will be in the Well soon."

Madhavan made it very clear that he doesn’t want their friend Raju, the character played by Sharman Joshi, to follow. He also thanked all for their love. “Thank you for all the love. I am recuperating well,” he wrote. The actor has tested positive for the novel coronavirus on Wednesday, as per media reports. The same was confirmed by his spokesperson. “Mr. Aamir Khan has tested positive for Covid 19. He is at home in self quarantine, following all the protocols and he’s doing fine. All those who came in contact with him in the recent past should get themselves tested as a precautionary measure. Thank you for all your wishes and concern," said the spokesperson while talking to media.

In a recent, actor Kartik Aaryan also tested positive for the COVID-19. He shared the news on his Twitter account on the 22nd of March and asked all his fans to pray for him. In his tweet, Kartik wrote " Positive ho gaya Dua karo". The details of how the actor happened to be COVID positive are still unknown but all his fans are sending him good wishes on his social media and sharing personal experiences and tips to stay healthy during this time.

The actress has been diagnosed with coronavirus on Tuesday, according to several media reports. Alia Bhatt was shooting for her upcoming flick Gangubai Kathiawadi in Mumbai’s Goregaon Film City.

Film director Sanjay Leela Bhansali has also tested positive for the novel coronavirus. An official confirmed the same while talking to a leading news daily. “SLB has tested positive for Covid-19, and he is under self-quarantine, Alia too has quarantined herself since SLB and Ranbir both have tested positive. Everybody who has come in contact with Sanjay have taken the test," the official was quoted saying.

Varun Dhawan was too shooting for one of his upcoming projects, Jug Jugg Jeeyo at Chandigarh and has been diagnosed corona positive. Instead of returning back to Mumbai, he has decided to stay in Chandigarh in isolation.

Another cast of the film Jug Jugg Jeeyo, Neetu Kapoor tested corona positive at Chandigarh. The film will also feature Kiara Advani and Anil Kapoor, who have been tested negative for the novel coronavirus. 

Maniesh Paul

Actor-anchor Maniesh Paul is also part of the film Jug Jugg Jeeyo and has been most recently diagnosed with COVID-19. The shoot of the film has been put to hold as the director of the flick, Raj Mehta is also suffering from coronavirus as of now.  

Amitabh Bachchan

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan tested positive for COVID-19 on Saturday. He is currently stable and is showing mild symptoms, as per media reports. The actor is in the isolation unit at Nanavati Super Speciality Hospital, Mumbai. Senior Bachchan himself informed his fans and followers about testing positive, taking to his official Twitter handle. “T 3592 - It shall not be possible for me to acknowledge and respond to all the prayers and wishes expressed by them that have shown concern towards Abhishek, Aishwarya, Aaradhya and me .. I put my hands together and say ..🙏 Thank you for your eternal love and affection,” he wrote. 

 

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan tested positive on Sunday and is currently isolated at home in Mumbai along with her 8-year-old daughter Aaradhya, who also tested positive. The news was confirmed by Aishwarya’s husband, Abhishek Bachchan. “Aishwarya and Aaradhya have also tested COVID-19 positive. They will be self quarantining at home. The BMC has been updated of their situation and are doing the needful.The rest of the family including my Mother have tested negative. Thank you all for your wishes and prayers,” he tweeted.

Just like all other members of his family, except his mother Jaya Bachchan, Abhishek has also been found infected by the novel coronavirus. After testing positive on Saturday, he has been admitted to Nanavati Hospital’s isolation center. He is showing mild symptoms as of now.

Known for essaying the role of Anurag Basu in the renewed version of the popular television show, Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Parth Samthaan tested COVID-19 positive on Sunday. He is currently home-quarantined, revealed the actor, taking to his official Instagram handle. “"Hi everyone, I have tested positive for COVID-19. Although, I have mild symptoms... I would urge and request everyone who's been with me in close proximity over the last few days, please go and get yourself tested. The BMC has regularly been in touch and with the doctors' guidance, I am in self-quarantine and I am grateful to them for all their support. Please be safe and take care,” he wrote.

Veteran actor Kiran Kumar, who is known for working with several superstars in films like Tezaab, Dhadhkan, Khuda Gawah, and much more, tested positive on May 14. The actor has now recovered and tested negative after staying in home quarantine for around two weeks. “After being retested for COVID-19, I am happy to say that I have tested negative. My family is still following strict home isolation. I was totally asymptomatic, and apart from the boredom that accompanies isolation, I had no other complaints,” the actor said in a statement, reportedly. 

Mohena Kumari Singh 

Earlier this month, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai-famed actress Mohena Kumari tested positive along with a few other members of her family. She was admitted in the hospital, but has now returned home to stay in isolation, as she has not tested negative yet. Mohena updated her fans about her current medical status, taking to her Instagram.

Popular for his roles in films like Mission Mangal, Airlift, and Rock On, actor Purab Kohli got infected of the coronavirus in April. His family also tested positive along with him. He confirmed the same on social media. The actor stays in London, UK. 

Singer Kanika Kapoor 

Kanika Kapoor was one of the first Bollywood celebrities to test positive for novel coronavirus in India. She first was reported positive on March 20, post her return from London, UK. As per media reports, the singer tested positive not once, but a total four times. After testing negative for the last two consecutive tests, she was discharged from the hospital.

Indian origin actress, who is a renowned Hollywood star Indira Varma tested positive for COVID-19 in March. She revealed the same on her official social media handles. Indira has worked in a few Bollywood flicks such as, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan-starrer Bride and Prejudice, Kama Sutra: A Tale Of Love, and Jinnah. 

Wajid Khan

Music director Wajid Khan died on June 1 due to cardiac arrest. As per media reports, he also tested positive for coronavirus. A day after he passed away, his mother Razina Khan tested positive for the virus. as well.
