Would you even believe it? No one would, of course. But a seller on Amazon just woke up one day and decided to sell their ordinary pink bucket for Rs. 25,999.

A twitter user Vivek Raju shared a screenshot of the bizarre pricing of plastic buckets on Amazon that gained the attention of a lot of people. The item is titled as 'Plastic Bucket for Home and Bathroom Set of 1'. The bucket is very generic and has a size: 31.5 cm x 31.5 cm x 30 cm.

What surprised us even more is that 25,999 is the discounted price after 28% off. The actual price of the item is Rs. 35,900.

Sharing the post, the twitter user wrote, "Just found this on Amazon and I don't know what to do".

Netflix Called It Babu Rao's Bucket

Reacting to the bizarre pricing, netizens could not stop making jokes and memes about it. Even Netflix joined them in the trend. Netflix India reacted to the tweet saying, "Seeing Babu Rao's bucket on sale being posted by someone named Raju is just real life Phir Hera Pheri and we appreciate it".

Reacting to the price of the plastic bucket, Amazon apologised. Replying to the viral tweet and asking for the link of the item, Amazon wrote, "Our apologies for the inconvenience, we'd like to take a closer look at this. Could you please share the link to the item you are referring to? -Mustafa"

The 25,999 bucket is not available for sale anymore.

Not just the Plastic Buckets, Amazon was also selling plastic mugs for Rs 9,914, after a 55% price drop from Rs 22,080. People were more amused than surprised by this.
