The pictures shared by the trust on their official X formerly known as Twitter account, showed the artists sculpting on the pillars inside the Ram Mandir. According to reports, stones have been sourced from Rajasthan’s Bharatpur district for the construction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh.
Earlier last week, the Ram Mandir Trust had also shared a video of the under construction holy shrine on X.The short video showed the Sanctum Santorum with a clear view of one of the golden doors and the carvings on the pillars as well as the walls of the temple.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has mentioned that he will be attending the inauguration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh which is scheduled to be held on January 22, 2024 which is early next year.

To this end Prime Minister Modi mentioned in a post written in Hindi along with a photo of the temple’s trust members saying, “Today is a day full of emotions. The officials of Shri Ram Janma Bhoomi Tirtha Kshetra today came to meet me at my residence. They invited me to come to Ayodhya on the occasion of the consecration of Shri Ram temple."
The Prime Minister further said, "I feel very blessed. It is my good fortune that in my lifetime, I will witness this historic occasion.”
The thirty second video shared by the Ram Temple Trust which was captioned, "Culmination of 500 years of struggle" gave a sneak peek into the construction of the grand temple.
At an earlier occasion, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Trust’s General Secretary, Champat Rai confirmed that the idol of Lord Shri Ram will be installed at the temple on January 22, 2024; and that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has accepted the invitation.

As per reports, the trust is planning to invite over 25,000 Hindu religious from around 136 ‘Sanatana’ traditions for the consecration ceremony. Ten thousand special guests are likely to be invited to the grand ceremony.
