The much-awaited Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt wedding we were all waiting for finally happened today. The festivities began yesterday with an intimate Mehendi ceremony. This morning, the Kapoors and Bhatts had a Haldi ceremony at Ranbir Kapoor's residence, Vastu.
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's wedding, as predicted, was an intimate affair with only close family and friends in attendance. Reportedly, a total of 20-30 guests were a part of the wedding celebrations.

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt tied the knot in the presence of their families and close friends today. Alia Bhatt, sharing some adorable pictures from her wedding ceremony today on her Instagram handle wrote, "Today, surrounded by our family and friends, at home … in our favourite spot - the balcony we’ve spent the last 5 years of our relationship - we got married.
With so much already behind us, we can’t wait to build more memories together … memories that are full of love, laughter, comfortable silences, movie nights, silly fights, wine delights and Chinese bites.

Alia Bhatt And Ranbir Kapoor In Sabyasachi Mukherjee
For their day wedding, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor opted for ivory outfits from the house of Sabyasachi Mukherjee. Alia Bhatt ditched the traditional lehenga and opted for an hand dyed ivory organza sari embroidered with fine tilla work and an embroidered handwoven tissue veil. It was paired with Sabyasachi Heritage Jewellery featuring uncut diamonds and hand strung pearls. Celebrity draper, Dolly Jain draped Alia Bhatt's wedding outfit.
On the other hand, Ranbir Kapoor worean embroidered silk sherwani with Sabyasachi uncut diamond buttons, a silk organza safa and shawl with zari marori embroidery. His kilangi by Sabyasachi Heritage Jewellery featured uncut diamonds, emeralds and pearls and a multistrand pearl necklace.
Beauty wise, Alia Bhatt's makeup was kept soft and minimal, in sync with her wedding outfit.

The Bhatts and Kapoors have started to share their pictures from the wedding festivities on their Instagram handle. Karisma Kapoor shared a picture with Alia and Ranbir on her Instagram and captioned it, "Congratulations to this gorgeous couple 🧡 wish you both a lifetime of happiness and more 🎉🎉🎉 #familylove #merebhaikishaadihai." We could also spot a big rock engagement ring on Alia Bhatt's finger on the picture. The engagement pictures aren't out yet.

For Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's day-wedding, the Kapoors and Bhatts were all decked up in stunning traditional wear. Neetu Kapoor, mother of the groom carried a multicoloured lehenga set which was draped like a saree. Her look was teamed with a heavy pink kundan set. On the other hand, sister of the groom, Riddhima Kapoor Sahani went for the neutral palette, wore a beige and gold lehenga set with intricate mirror and crystal work all over. Her dupatta was draped over her shoulders. Her look was rounded off with layered kundan and emerald choker set. Both mother and daughter were dressed in designers Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla for the wedding.
