However the reality is different, not all the homemade desserts or sweet dish recipes are hard to crack and they also a very safe option as compared to buying from outside. So here is your complete guide on how you can make this rich Indian sweet dish easily at home.
How To Make Ras Malai At Home?
Begin with preparing the chenna at home, for which you will have to boil 1 liter of milk in a pan and bring it to boil on a high flame.
Once the milk is boiled switch off the flame and add half lemon juice or 2tbsp of vinegar to it.
Now using a muslin cloth strain this crumbled milk and tie it tightly or hang it for 40mins. Make sure there is no extra water in it. Keep it aside for 15-20mins.
Now start making small dough out of the chenna and make chenna balls, ensure that there are no cracks on them, and then cover them with the muslin cloth.
On another Pan add milk and bring it to boil, keep boiling it till it gets slightly creamy and thick.
Now add saffron, chopped pistachios, cardamom powder, and almonds to the milk and keep stirring.
Then add 1 cup sugar to the milk and stir well for 5mins and switch off the flame.
Now take another pan for preparing the sugar syrup by boiling water and adding 1cup of sugar to it.
Now add your chenna balls to this boiling sugar syrup and cook for 15-20mins by flipping the balls on medium to low flame.
Now switch off the flame and let it cool down, then squeeze out the syrup from the chenna balls with the help of a spoon and then add them to the prepared saffron milk.
Put this in the fridge and serve chilled
