Ribbon pakoda, a simple and yummy snack to enjoy with evening tea!
Begin by making dough to form the ribbons. In a bowl combine all the ingredients together.
Start kneading the dough with hands by adding water.
Once done, divide the dough into two equal parts.
Take ribbon-shaped mould, grease it with oil, a put a portion of the dough into it.
Apply pressure on it and then cover with the lid.
Meanwhile, place a wok on the stove and add oil in it for deep frying.
Once the dough takes the shape of ribbons, put them into the hot oil. Cook until they turn light brown in colour.
Drain the ribbon pakoda’s using an absorbent paper.
After it cools down, serve with sauce or your favourite chutney.
