How To Make Tawa Fish Fry:

Tawa Fish Fry

1. To begin with, first marinate the fish. Wash and pat the fish fillets dry with paper towels. Cut them into medium-sized pieces.

2. Then in a bowl, combine the turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, black pepper powder, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, and salt.

3. Add the fish pieces and mix well to coat them evenly in the marinade (make sure to apply the masala all over the fish). Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes for deeper flavour.

4. Heat the cooking oil in a tawa or cast iron pan over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, fry the marinated fish pieces in batches, without overcrowding the pan. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side or until golden brown and cooked through.

5. Transfer the fried fish to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil. Garnish it with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with some onion rings, lemon wedges, mint chutney, or hot rice.
