- 2 Cups Refined Flour Or Maida
- 1 Cup Semolina Or Sooji
- 1 Tbsp Carom Seeds
- Ghee As Required
- Water As Required
- Oil For Frying

Mix refined flour, semolina, and ghee.
- Step 2:
Add carom seeds to taste (optional).
- Step 3:
Pour in water to knead the dough.
- Step 4:
Make small balls from the dough and keep them aside.
- Step 5:
Start rolling these balls into mathris.
- Step 6:
Prick the mathris with a toothpick or fork. This will prevent the mathris from puffing up.

Fry in hot oil and take off the flame once crispy.

Place on a paper towel to soak excess oil.

How To Make Fiki Mathri?

- Cover the dough with a damp cloth. Let the dough rest for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Next, it is time to shape the mathris.
- Divide the dough into small balls, and start rolling them like a puri.

- In a kadhai, add oil, and once hot, start sliding the mathris one by one.
