Hara Bhara Kabab

Hara bhara kabab is a great snack. It is delicious and healthy too. These kababs are prepared using mashed potatoes, spinach and green peas. 

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups Spinach 
  • 3/4 cup boiled and mashed Green peas 
  • 3-4 medium boiled and grated Potatoes 
  • 3 chopped Green chillies 
  • 1 tsp Chaat masala
  • 2 tsp cornflour
  • 2 teaspoon Ginger (chopped) 
  • Fresh coriander leaves 
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for cooking
Directions:

Start by blanching spinach leaves. Next, drain out excess water and chop. Mix chopped spinach, peas and potatoes. Add green chillies, ginger, coriander leaves. Sprinkle chaat masala and salt according to taste. Add some cornflour. Bind the mix well. Now take equal portions of the mixture and give them kabab shapes. Take a pan, add oil for frying. Now deep fry all the kabas till they turn golden brown. Drain out on oil absorbing paper. Serve with a dip of your choice. 

Aloo Cheese Balls

Potatoes are loved by all and what better than enjoying them with cheese? That’s liking adding more taste to it!

Ingredients:

  • 8 large boiled and mashed potatoes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • Veggies as per choice
  • 1⁄4 cup melted butter
  • Cheese cubes
  • 1 cup corn flakes, crushed
  • Oil for cooking
  • Crumbled cornflakes for rolling

Directions:

In a bowl, add mashed potatoes, salt, milk and butter. Mix well. Chill for some time. Now take a cheese cube and coat them with the mashed potato mixture. Form aloo cheese balls using some oil in your palm. Prepare some balls and then roll these in cornflake crumbs. Next, take a pan and add oil for cooking. Deep fry aloo cheese balls and serve.

Instant Paneer Tikka

Who doesn’t love paneer? It is super delicious and healthy too! Tawa paneer tikka is one dish that is quick to prepare and is loved by all! 

Ingredients:

  • 500 grams Paneer 
  • 1 cup Curd 
  • Salt to taste 
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper 
  • 2 tbsp Butter 
  • 1 tsp Chaat masala
  • 1 tsp cumin powder 
  • 1 tsp Ginger paste 
  • 2 diced Capsicum 
  • 2 diced Tomatoes 
  • Green coriander for garnish

Directions:

Take a bowl, add curd, salt, black pepper and ginger paste. Now add paneer cubes to it. Marinate for 30 minutes. Now take out the paneer on a plate and refrigerate it for some time. Take a non stick pan and add some oil and add marinated paneer cubes to it. Fry till it gets light brown. Add diced capsicum, tomatoes, salt and chaat masala to it. Keep mixing. Now take paneer tikka sticks and layer paneer, capsicum and tomatoes.
