Bread Bhurji is an easy and delicious recipe perfect for busy mornings. This recipe requires 15-20 minutes of your time. You can serve this to your kids as well as to your unexpected guests. This cuisine is packed with sweet, salty and tangy flavours of Indian spices. The bread Bhurji is a perfect breakfast for vegetarians. You can try this recipe with leftover bread and amaze your unexpected guests with your culinary skills.
How To Make Bread Bhurji Recipe?
Here is the step-by-step process for making Bread Bhurji recipe:
Step 1: Take a bowl, add curd to it and keep it aside.
Step 2: Add two tablespoons of water and spices which include turmeric powder, red chilli and salt into the curd bowl.
Step 3: Chop bread slices into cubes and add them to the curd batter.
Step 4: Combine all the ingredients thoroughly ensuring not to break the bread. Keep it aside.
Step 5: Take a hot pan and add a few tablespoons of oil to it.
Step 6: Let the oil heat for a while. Then add mustard seeds and curry leaves.
Step 7: Once the mustard seeds start to crackle, add green chillies, onion, tomato and other chopped vegetables.
Step 8: Saute the ingredients till light brown.
Step 9: Add the bread mixture into the pan and saute gently.
Step 10: Turn off the flame once the breads start to appear slightly golden brown.
Step 11: Garnish it with freshly chopped coriander and a few drops of lemon juice.
