It is soft, spongy, fluffy, and juicy in texture and is slightly sweet and salty in taste. It is mostly relished as snacks, breakfast, or brunch with green chutney, tamarind chutney, and fried chilies.

  • Take yogurt in a mixing bowl. Add sugar into the yogurt and whisk it nicely. Keep the yogurt aside.
  • Arrange the dhokla pieces on a platter.
  • Pour the yogurt mixture on the dhoklas.
  • Drizzle green chutney and sweet tamarind chutney, one by one on the top.
  • Sprinkle some chaat masala, roasted cumin powder on the dhokla chaat.
  • Add some chopped onions, green chilli, chopped coriander leaves one by one on the dhokla chaat.
  • Sprinkle some nylon sev and pomegranate arils on the top.
  • Sprinkle red chili powder and black salt at the end of the dhokla chaat.

Ingredients

  • 8 pieces Khaman dhokla
  • 2 tablespoons Sweet Tamarind chutney (add the amount accordingly)
  • 2 tablespoons Green chutney (add the amount accordingly)
  • ¼ cup Yogurt (Add the amount accordingly)
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • ½ teaspoon Chaat masala
  • ¼ teaspoon roasted Cumin powder
  • ¼ teaspoon red Chilli powder
  • ¼ teaspoon black Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Onion
  • finely chopped
  • 1-2 tablespoons Coriander leaves
  • finely chopped
  • 1 green Chilli
  • finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Pomegranate arils
  • 2-3 tablespoons Nylon Sev

Instructions

Step 1
Take ¼ cup Yogurt in a mixing bowl. Add 1 teaspoon sugar into the yogurt and whisk it nicely. Keep the yogurt aside.
