Dulquer Salmaan's highly anticipated period drama, 'Kaantha', has concluded its first weekend with a total domestic collection of approximately ₹13 crore. While the film saw a positive jump in collections on Saturday, Sunday registered a noticeable dip, indicating that the initial highly positive critical buzz may not have translated into sustained mass appeal throughout the weekend.
According to the Sacnilk report, ‘Kaantha’ collected ₹0.03 crore at the box office on Monday, November 17, 2025. The movie had an overall occupancy rate of 16.96% in the Telugu-speaking states. Even though it was lower than its Tamil counterpart, it showed a consistent upward trend throughout the day, with evening shows approaching 20%, indicating growing audience interest. Social media users are praising the cast’s powerful performances in Kaantha. Some viewers did spot a few loopholes in the story, but many feel the strong performances more than make up for it.
