This rom-com sequel was just released in theatres today, on November 14, 2025. Actors Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh will be seen reprising their roles for this sequel. Unlike the first film, this movie is being directed by Anshul Sharma instead of Akiv Ali. 

The total ‘De De Pyaar De 2’ box office collection for day one is currently estimated at ₹3.62 Cr, according to Sacnilk reports. The same report tells us that the highest sales were earned from Mumbai shows, followed by the National Capital Region (NCR) and Pune.

The story of this rom-com follows right where we left off in the first film. In the first film, we see Ashish (Ajay Devgn) take Ayesha (Rakul Preet Singh) to meet his family, but to his surprise, his own daughter is getting married. After his daughter’s wedding is complete and his family accepts their love, Ayesha tells Ashish to meet her parents.
