We all put a lot of effort into our outfits in order to look our best version but we usually ignore our footwear. However, it is important to pay special attention to both our outfit and our footwear in order to look the best. It is especially important that we make sure that our footwear complements our outfit and they are not mismatched.
However, we are often confused about what to pair up with what outfit. Fret not, because we are here to help you. Here is a guide for you that will advise you on what you can wear with what outfit.
Peep-Toes
If you are wearing a dress or a skirt, then these types of shoes would be perfect as they go well with bare legs. If you are going to wear it with opaque jeggings or leggings, then go for flat peep-toes.
Stiletto
Wear stilettos with pencil skirts or slim pants as they will make your legs look slender and attractive. These are perfect for a formal look but they are even good for a casual and party look.
Loafer
Wear loafers with preppy clothes and get a young look. These are perfect for a casual look as they are easy to wear and are super comfortable.
Pumps
If you can’t decide what footwear would look best with your outfit, then go for pumps as they go with every outfit. Team up a pair of pumps with skinny jeans and a trench coat or jacket and you will look amazing. Pumps will also look good with formal wear such as pantsuits and pencil skirts. Along with this, pumps will take your look to another level if you pair them up with a short dress.
Boots
It is not a rule to wear boots during the winter season. You can wear boots even during other seasons. You can pair up any boots with skinny jeans or jeggings or dresses. If you want to wear bootcut or flared pants, then ankle length boots would be perfect.
Kitten Heels
If you don’t feel comfortable in heels but still want to wear them, then wear low heels. This will give you a feminine look. Also, these are perfect for the office. These will give you the satisfaction of wearing heels without having to feel uncomfortable all day long.
Flip Flops
Flip flops are the best beach wear footwear. If you are going to the beach, then flip flops are the best option for you. Flip flops are also perfect to wear at home or to some errands as they are the most comfortable footwear. Basically, these are perfect for a casual setting.
Ballerinas
Ballerinas are one of my favourite footwears as they go with literally anything and give you the perfect feminine look. No matter what you pair up with ballerinas, you will look amazing. You can wear these with skirts, jeans, pants or dresses and you will surely be satisfied with your look.
Gladiators
If you want to wear gladiators which have straps till the knees, then you should pair it up with a boho dress or shorts. If you have chunky legs, then go for gladiators with wide straps.

Athletic Shoes
Athletic shoes or sports shoes are not for daily use. They are meant to be worn with athletic clothes and while performing any physical activity such as running, jogging, exercising, and other activities. You should get comfortable shoes with support in holes as these will be comfortable while working out and prevent your feet from getting injured. Avoid these for daily use as wearing them on a regular basis can destroy your shoes.
