Kufri  

Situated in Himachal Pradesh, Kufri is a must-visit hill station for all nature lovers. It is situated close to Shimla and is known for its trekking trails. For snow lovers, Kufri offers snow-clad peaks and perfect slopes for skiing. Spotted with several parks made for tourists, Kufri never fails to amaze with its picturesque beauty.  

Chail

Another enthralling hill station situated in Himachal Pradesh is Chail. Featured in several music videos, the place is known for its natural beauty. The most famous site which attracts hundreds of visitors every day is the Palace Hotel. It was built back in 1891 by Maharaja of Patiala and was later converted into a Heritage Hotel by Himachal Tourism in 1972. Chail is also famous for its highest cricket ground, which is used for conducting several matches. The ground was constructed back in 1893 and is situated at 7,380 feet above sea level.

Darjeeling 

Tiger hill, Batasia loop, and Darjeeling ropeway are few of the most prominent places in West Bengal, which strike the mind whenever someone talks about Darjeeling. Be it the beauty of Tiger Hill or the toy train ride at Batasia Loop, Darjeeling has so much to offer when it comes to nature. You can also take a ride in the prime attraction of Darjeeling, which is the ropeway. The cable car will take you at an altitude of 7000 feet and will make you witness the lush green tea gardens below.

Khajjiar 

Also known as ‘Mini Switzerland’ Khajjiar is one of the most famous hill stations in India. Khajjiar is full of forests, lakes, temples, and pastures which makes it a whole package for tourists. You can not only visit Khajjiar lake but also indulge in adventure sports such as zorbing, paragliding, and horse-riding here.

Cradled in the wilderness of Maharashtra, Panchgani is a unique hill station for all mountain lovers. The place derives its name from the five hills surrounding it and is thus named Panchgani. Famous for its sunrise and sunset points, Panchgani attracts a lot of people from Mumbai and other neighboring cities for a relaxed weekend.

Mount Abu is the only hill station of Rajasthan and this is what makes it unique. The most famous tourist attraction here is the Dilwara temples, which are a magnificent work of architecture. People from all parts of India come here to witness the beauty of this site. Mount Abu offers a wide range of attractions right from a wildlife sanctuary and sunset points to temples and lakes.
