Body parts like the foot, elbows and the T-zone are the most drying areas. The foot especially peels all throughout the winter season and becomes dry resulting in dead skin and cracks. Here is a list of three easy DIY foot scrubs that will not only hydrate but also keep your feet nourished throughout this winter season.

    Lemon And Sugar Foot Scrub lemon

    First on the list is this easy to make lemon and sugar foot scrub that will hydrate your feet and also heal the cracks caused due to the winter weather. 

    Ingredients:

    1 Lemon

    4 tsp of Sugar

    ½ tbsp of Salt

    How To Make:

    Step 1: Take a bowl and add four teaspoons of sugar in it. 

    Step 2: Add ½ tbsp of salt into the sugar and squeeze one full size lemon into it. 

    Step 3: Mix these three ingredients properly until it gets a paste-like consistency. 

    Apply this scrub on your feet before taking a bath and leave it on for thirty minutes. Rinse and moisturise after. 

    Benefits:

    The lemon in the scrub brightens and freshens the feet and also gets rid of bad odour. 

    The sugar and the salt exfoliates the feet and gets rid of dead skin. 

    Lemon also has anti-fungal properties that get the feet rid of germs and bacteria. 

    Aloe Foot Scrubaloe

    Aloe Vera Gel

    Vaseline

    How To Make:

    Step 1: Take 1 tablespoon of aloe vera gel and add it in a bowl.

    Step 2: Take 1 tablespoon of vaseline and mix it with aloe vera gel.

    Step 3: Mix the two ingredients properly until it forms a smooth paste.

    Apply this scrub on your feet before bed and let it soak in your feet overnight.

    The aloe vera gel deeply nourishes and hydrates the skin of your feet.

    The vaseline not only moisturises your feet but also forms a protective barrier on your skin to prevent further damage.

    Coconut Oil

    Salt

    How To Make:

    Step 1: Take 2 tablespoons of coconut oil in a bowl.

    Step 2: Add 2 tablespoons of salt into the coconut oil.

    Step 3: Mix the two ingredients until they become a paste.

    Apply this scrub on your feet before you take a shower and leave for thirty minutes. Remember to rinse and moisturise after.

    The coconut oil will hydrate your feet and make sure they are moisturised.
