The one thing that we are all conscious about is our armpits. Be it the odour or the colour, all of us are constantly applying a bunch of products on our armpits to make it smell better and seem fairer. However, have you ever stopped to think about the impact that these products are having on the health of your skin in the armpits?
While we conduct so many skincare activities for our face, neck, feet and all those body parts that are seen, our armpits often go ignored. As a result, our armpits lose their softness, colour, fragrance and overall health!
What Is Armpit Detox
Constant use of artificial products on your armpits can result in a lot of residual toxins. The process of detoxification helps in getting rid of the toxins that keep piling up on the skin. Like we go on a detox for our body where we switch to homemade healthy food to pamper our insides, armpit detox also requires you to switch to natural ingredients to give your armpits the care it deserves!

Shift To A Natural Spray
The chemicals that are used in our deodorants and perfumes(learn how to store perfumes) tend to buildup the toxin residual in our armpit. Since our armpits are very close to our breasts, a lot of studies have shown a possible correlation between armpit health and breast cancer. Though there is no confirmation on that, even for the purpose of maintaining health and hygiene, using 100% natural products always work better. Choose a perfume carefully, look at its ingredients and make sure that the spray is completely risk-free.
Even after you have switched to a natural spray, this just means that there will not be any added toxins in your armpit. However, to get rid of the already accumulated ones, you will need to exfoliate your armpits. You can do this with the help of a dry brush and rubbing it gently on your armpits or even use coffee or sugar scrubs and gently massage that area.

Using hard products and rough chemicals on your armpits can leave it dry and unhealthy. Like we carry out cleansing for our face to remove dirt and oil, an armpit cleanse is also necessary for cleaning the surface of your armpit.
The purpose of this mask is to help your armpits make the transition from chemical-loaded sprays to natural ones. It rids the skin of any irritation that is caused by the chemicals in your spray. Moreover, since natural body sprays do not have as much power to fight the odour, this mask helps reduce the odour naturally.

Apply the paste on your armpit and leave it to dry for 15 minutes and rinse it off after that. Bentonite clay is loaded with several minerals like calcium, iron, magnesium and efficiently absorbs all the dirt of the skin. The apple cider vinegar rids the skin of the odour causing bacteria. Aloe vera spray and water will cause cooling and make your armpits feel fresh! You can use this mix on a weekly basis and continue this for at least a month for the best results!
