Gond Katira Kheer Recipe: Steps To Make This Monsoon Delight

    The delicious recipe is made with poha, gond katira, and cardamom to keep your body cool during the humid weather of the monsoon season. Look at these simple steps to make it.

Step 1

    Heat milk and add saffron strands to it. Now boil it, and add the roasted poha powder on a medium flame.

Step 2

    Add milk powder followed by sugar. If you don’t want to use sugar, you can go for its alternative. Mix well till the sugar melts. Switch off the flame and transfer it into a bowl.

Step 3

    Add cardamom powder and mix well. Now, add gond katira and rose water. Make sure to mix them well.

Step 4

    Once it is completely done, keep the kheer in the freezer for at least 30 minutes. You can either eat it as a cold dessert or as a hot dessert too.

    Take the kheer out from the freezer and the last step is to garnish it well with pistachios and serve it in a glass bowl. Enjoy the delightful dish with your family this festive season.
