Wednesday Season 3 OTT Release: First Look, Cast, Expected Plot And Streaming Details Of Jenna Ortega's Supernatural Mystery Series

The Wednesday universe is set to venture into global territories. On April 20, 2026, Netflix unleashed its followers’ social media accounts with a glimpse of its leading actress Jenna Ortega as the gothic character in front of the world-famous monument, the Eiffel Tower in Paris.  As production relocates from Ireland to other locations abroad, fans await the chase for the fugitive Enid, a revelation of more information about the Addams family with the appearance of Aunt Ophelia, and epic proportions sure to make 2027's premiere a huge television phenomenon. Wednesday Season 3 OTT Release

While Netflix hasn't set an exact premiere date, Wednesday Season 3 is officially in production and is expected to return to screens in mid-2027. Following the massive success of Season 2, which aired in two parts in August and September 2025, the third season began filming in February 2026. 

Wednesday Season 3 First Look Out

On April 20, 2026, Netflix released a viral 'First Look' image of Jenna Ortega in Paris. The image, captioned "From Paris, with dread," features Wednesday standing next to Uncle Fester’s motorcycle under the Eiffel Tower, with Thing perched on the handlebars.

While the show’s main production base has moved from Romania to Ireland, Season 3 is going global. A brief location shoot in Paris wrapped up this week, suggesting Wednesday’s hunt for a runaway Enid leads her to the French capital.

Wednesday Season 3 Cast

There will be many actors who will reprise their roles. These are Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Addams, Luis Guzman as Gomez Addams, and Jenna Ortega.

In addition, there will be new actors joining the cast, namely Lena Headey, Andrew McCarthy, James Lance, Winona Ryder, Chris Sarandon, Noah Taylor, Oscar Morgan, and Kennedy Moyer. There is also the character of Aunt Ophelia, played by Eva Green, who has gone missing.

Wednesday Season 3 Expected Plot

From the end of season 2, it is evident that there is still a lot more to do in terms of Wednesday's story. Many questions remain unanswered. The main one concerns the fate of Wednesday's aunt Ophelia. Another character who will play a prominent role in the series is Enid Sinclair. She is portrayed by actress Emma Myers. As she learns to embrace her full powers, Enid might assume more responsibilities, perhaps become the leader or alpha. 

‘Our goal for season 3 is the same as it is for every season: to make it the best season of Wednesday we possibly can,’ said co-creator and showrunner Alfred Gough.
