The Plot of Mohrey

‘Mohrey’ takes place in the underworld of Mumbai, where gangster Bosco (Jaaved Jaaferi) holds a powerful grip. His rivalry with police officer Jabbar has lasted for years, but things take a dramatic turn when a special task force is formed to catch him. What complicates matters further is a betrayer within the police force, secretly aiding Bosco's operations.

The trailer offers a glimpse into the tense relationship between Arjun, an undercover cop infiltrating Bosco’s empire, and Michael, Bosco’s informant within the police. These two men, on opposite sides of the law, are bound together by secrets from their fathers' pasts. The conflict spirals into a battle of survival, with high stakes and thrilling moments.

The story is set in Dariyawada, a fictional neighbourhood in old Bombay, known for its gritty and vibrant atmosphere. As the characters grapple with loyalty and vengeance, ‘Mohrey’ promises to deliver an intense narrative filled with twists and turns.

Mohrey Cast and Crew

The series features a talented ensemble cast. Jaaved Jaaferi takes on the role of Bosco, a character shaped by ambition and survival instincts. Neeraj Kabi and Aashim Gulati play significant roles, adding depth to the narrative. The cast also includes Pulkit Makol, Gayatri Bharadwaj, and Pradnya Motghare in key roles.

Speaking about his character, Jaaved Jaaferi described Bosco as “layered, vulnerable, and incredibly strategic,” adding that the role posed a unique challenge due to the complex nature of the character. He went on to say, “It’s a story about the scars we carry and the lengths we reach for redemption.”

Directed by Mukul Abhyankar, ‘Mohrey’ is written by Charudatta Bhagwat and Aditya Parulekar, with dialogues by Hussain Dalal and Abbas Dalal. The show is produced by Deepak Dhar and Rajesh Chaddha under Banijay Asia.
