Shefali Shah’s portrayal of DCP Vartika Chaturvedi was widely praised for its emotional depth and dignity. Her performance earned her the Asian Academy Creative Award for Best Actress (2019) and a nomination at the International Emmy Awards, marking a milestone for Indian web content on a global platform.
The second season drew inspiration from the real-life crimes of the ‘Chaddi Baniyan’ gang, known for targeting elderly residents in Delhi. The returning cast, including Rasika Dugal, Adil Hussain, and Rajesh Tailang, delivered another stellar performance.
