Kahan Shuru Kahan Khatam Storyline
Set in Haripat, Haryana, Kahan Shuru Kahan Khatam follows the journey of Meera (Dhvani Bhanushali), who finds herself trapped in a marriage she does not want. Her conservative family pressures her into the wedding, but fate intervenes when Krishna (Aashim Gulati), a charming wedding crasher, enters the scene.
As Meera's family attempts to chase Krishna away, she seizes the opportunity to escape with him to Barsana, his hometown. The film raises the question: will Meera's family succeed in forcing her back into marriage, or will Krishna stand up for her freedom?
Debut director Saurabh Dasgupta has received praise for his work on Kahan Shuru Kahan Khatam, despite minor flaws in the climax monologue. The script, penned by Lakshman Utekar and Rishi Virmani, offers an engaging narrative that resonates with contemporary themes such as women's consent and challenging patriarchal norms. The film also features a talented supporting cast, including Rakesh Bedi, Rajesh Sharma, Sonali Sachdeva, and Supriya Pilgaonkar.
The soundtrack of Kahan Shuru Kahan Khatam includes remixes of classic songs along with new compositions by Sachin-Jigar. The background score effectively complements the romantic comedy genre while enhancing emotional moments throughout the film. Importantly, the film conveys messages about women's rights and empowerment, showcasing women in Barsana breaking free from traditional constraints.
