Euphoria Season 4 Update: Will The Story Of This Zendaya Starrer Continue?

Euphoria Season 4 Update: After watching the ‘Euphoria’ season three finale, fans have been on quite the emotional rollercoaster. The ‘Euphoria’ season three finale episode, titled ‘In God We Trust’, premiered on June 1, 2026, and it is fair to say that it left fans shocked, stunned, and sad, all at the same time. With episode eight being full of surprises and plot twists, fans couldn’t help but wonder if the show will get continued into another season. Let’s dive in to find out the ‘Euphoria’ season four update here.
Will There Be A Euphoria Season 4
This show started back in 2019 and quickly became a favourite amongst the audience. From the story of addiction to the high school problems these characters suffered through, ‘Euphoria’ quickly gained fame.
With ‘Euphoria’ season three launching in April 2026, fans waited every week to catch new episodes of this drama. The finale of the show, ‘Euphoria’ season episode eight, aired yesterday, and with it, the show ended as well.
Earlier in 2026, before season three had premiered, HBO CEO Casey Bloys had kept the door slightly open. When asked about reports that Levinson had ideas for a fourth season, Bloys acknowledged he and the showrunner would need to have creative conversations, but stressed that Levinson was fully focused on completing season three at the time. That conversation, it seems, has now led to a definitive full stop.
Following the ‘Euphoria’ season three finale, HBO and creator Sam Levinson have confirmed that the series will not be returning. The last episode we saw, marked the end of the show's run.

Could Euphoria Continue Without Rue Bennett?
In ‘Euphoria’ season three, Zendaya’s beloved character Rue Bennett gets killed off with a drug overdose in the finale. We also saw Nate Jacobs, played by Jacob Elordi, die this season, making two of the show's most central figures gone for good.

Rue has always been the moral and emotional spine of Euphoria. Her voiceover, her spiral, her fragile moments of hope, they gave the show its soul. Without her, a ‘Euphoria’ season four would feel incomplete and be a different series altogether. HBO's confirmation that Season 3 is the final season reinforces the view that the story has run its natural course.
With the ‘Euphoria’ season three finale, we will finally bid farewell to an amazing show.
