Nikita Porwal, hailing from Madhya Pradesh, has been crowned Femina Miss India 2024. Rekha Pandayy, representing the Union Territories, took the first runner-up spot, while Ayushi Dholakia from Gujarat finished third at the annual beauty pageant.
Porwal's crown was presented by Femina Miss India World 2023, Nandini Gupta, while the Miss India sash was placed on her by Bollywood actress and beauty queen Neha Dhupia, as shared on the pageant’s Instagram account. Now, Nikita Porwal will go on to represent India at the Miss World pageant.
Who Is Nikita Porwal?
Nikita Porwal, originally from Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, began working at the young age of 18, starting her career as a TV anchor. According to Femina, she completed her schooling at Carmel Convent Senior Secondary School and is currently pursuing higher education at Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda.

Porwal, the newly crowned Miss India 2024, lives by the motto, “Be a life that matters, a loss that’s felt,” which reflects her dedication and desire to make a meaningful impact. A fan of former Miss World and actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Nikita admires her grace and intelligence, describing her as “the perfect blend of beauty and brains.”
Nikita Porwal has showcased her talent by performing in over 60 plays and even authored a 250-page play titled Krishna Leela. In addition to her theatrical work, she is also part of a feature film that has been screened at international festivals and is set to be released in India soon.
