Sawan 2023: Bring Tulsi, Jand And Datura Plants Into Your Home To Attract Prosperity And Wealth

One of the most auspicious times of the year according to the Hindu calendar is Sawan. The celebrations began on July 4, 2023, and will end in August this year. It is believed to be the right time to start something new, take the next step in your relationship, and immerse yourself in a new venture.

Sawan is also the month in which devotees worship Lord Shiva. They offer him his favourite things and ask for his blessings. What many do not know is that there are certain plants that you should bring to your home to clear Vastu dosha and attract peace, prosperity, and wealth in your life.

We spoke to Dr Arti Dahiya, Vastu and Astrology expert, to learn about what plants will be auspicious to install around the house in the month of Sawan.

Jand Plant (Shami Ka Ped)

Jand plant or shami ka ped is considered auspicious to install in your house during Sawan. It is considered among the favourites of Lord Shiva, therefore, it is believed to attract positive energy into the house along with His blessings.

Dr Dahiya suggested lighting a diya every day near the jand plant in the evening. According to mythology, Pandavas in Mahabharata are believed to have worshipped a jand tree to hide their weapons so that they could disguise themselves among common people for a village.

The Vastu expert also said that one should install at least two plants in their house to receive blessings from Lord Shiva. You should keep in mind that these plants face the North direction. It will help you attract happiness in life.

Tulsi Plant

The Tulsi plant holds great significance among Hindus. Dr Dahiya said that the plant is auspicious and considered pure. It is believed to be related to Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Vishnu. Hence, if you bring a new tulsi plan to your home, it can help you attract happiness, prosperity, peace, and money.

If you have been experiencing a financial crisis, the plant might clear Vastu dosha and align stars to help you find solutions for your troubles. The expert added that the fruit of worshipping this plant doubles during Sawan.

You should install either the Shyama or Rama Tulsi plant on Thursday. During Sawan, you can plant it on Tuesday. You should ensure not putting it on the roof.

Datura

Dhatura is one of the offerings people place on the Shivling or near it while worshipping Lord Shiva during Sawan. It is believed to be among favourites of the God, and hence, the astrologer suggested installing its plant in your home during Sawan. It is believed to attract prosperity and wealth. You might find solutions to your problem by placing this plant in your house, and it will help you get ahead in life.
