
New Night-shift Rules For Women: The government is trying to give women the same opportunities as men. To encourage more women to work, the UP government has announced new rules for those working the night shift. Under this new order by the Yogi government, women who work on the night shift between 7 pm and 6 am with their consent will be given benefits like double wages and CCTV surveillance. A gazette order has been issued by the Uttar Pradesh government for women working during the night shift. The UP government is being led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Under these new night shift rules for women, they will be receiving benefits like double wages, CCTV surveillance and transport facilities. Women working the night shift will also get security guards.They have to give their consent to willingly work on the night shift.

From now onwards, employers would have to provide proper security, fair wages, and other facilities to women working the night shift. Women who will be working the night shift are allowed to work for up to six days a week. The earlier overtime limit has been raised from 75 hours to 144 hours per quarter. Women can now also work continuously for six hours without getting any breaks if they agree. Those women working on the night shift will receive their payment at double wage rates.
These are the new safety measures given out by the UP government. With these new rules, for women's safety during night shifts, the government is providing women with an equal chance to participate in hazardous industrial sectors. This new order will be implemented across all factories and various corporate sectors running in Uttar Pradesh. Women can now work under policy reforms, administrative firmness, and legal provisions. This creates an environment of safety, respect, and self-reliance at workplaces.
