However, before you start cleaning the tiles, you can spray vinegar in the corners and other mould-infested areas in the bathroom. Let the content sit there for about an hour and wipe the area with a cleaning cloth piece. It will get you rid of germs breeding in the space.

The most important aspect of cleaning tiles on the floors and walls of a bathroom is cleaning the spaces between two pieces of tiles. Dirty grouts make the entire bathroom look dirty, pale and unpleasant. It also traps dust particles and moisture, allowing the germs to grow.

Make a mixture of equal parts water and vinegar and spray a generous amount on the grouts. Wait for at least 20 minutes before pouring tile cleaner and scrubbing it off. In the end, use a cloth piece to clean the floor and wall tiles in the bathroom.

Maintenance of the tiles is another crucial task that we must undertake after cleaning. Once cleaned, you can follow some simple tips to ensure minimal efforts to maintain the shine of tiles. 

You can simply use a tile cleaning product once or twice a week. Quickly apply it on the tiles, scrub them and rinse the floor and walls with clean water. It will hardly take 10 minutes.

Baking Soda

Baking soda is another active agent that people can use at home to prepare a strong solution that will help you get rid of stains, dirt in grouts and other kinds of spots. Mix one part of water with two parts of baking soda and use it before applying any cleaning product. 

Lemon Juice

Another eco-friendly product that you can use for cleaning tiles is lemon. It is acidic in nature and works effectively on stains. You can either directly spray lemon juice or mix it with water. 

After spraying the mixture, scrub the stains and grouts with a scrubber or a cloth piece. Rinse the tiles and floors with clean water. You can also add baking soda to the lemon and water mixture.

Bleach

Bleach is another rigorous cleaning agent to clean the tiles in the bathroom. In the ratio of 1:3, mix bleach and water in a bowl. Fill a spray bottle with the mixture and apply it to the tiles. Wait for a few minutes before rinsing the tiles with clean water. You can also wipe them with a wet cloth.

If you are using bleach, ensure that you leave the windows and doors of the bathroom open. Noxious fumes come out of it, and you can feel irritation in your eyes. Also, your gloves when handling the bleach, else it can irritate the skin.
