Satyaprem Ki Katha, the upcoming Hindi film stars Kiara Advani and Kartik Aaryan in lead roles. The film is scheduled to have a theatrical release on 29 June next year.
Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under his banner Nadiadwala Grandson (NGE) in a massive collaboration with Namah Pictures, the upcoming film is a musical love story. While Advani will play the role of Katha, Aaryan will play the role of Satyaprem. However, shooting for Satyaprem Ki Katha is yet to begin and the rest of the case is yet to be announced.

The upcoming film is directed by Sameer Vidwans, the popular actor and Marathi director whose works include Altun Paltun, Samantar (a mini television series), Dhurala, Anandi Gopal, YOLO- You Only Live Once (television series), Mala Kahich Problem Nahi, YZ, Double Seat, and Time Please. His film Anandi Gopal bagged two National awards last year in Best Feature Film on Social Issues and product design. The film also won several awards including Best Feature Film in the Yellowstone International Film Festival, FIPRESCI- India Grand Prix, and Filmfare Marathi.
Satyaprem Ki Katha marks the second collaboration of the lead duo after their latest hit Bhool Bhulaiya 2. The film released in May 2022 and was one of the biggest box office hits of the year. Sequel to one of the most hit Hindi films Bhool Bhulaiya starring Akshay Kumar, the film collected over Rs 250 crores approximately. Since the duo’s last hit, the fans are waiting to watch them together on the big screen once again.

A few days ago, Aaryan had taken to social media to share a picture of the duo to wish ‘Happy Birthday’ to Advani. He wrote, “Happy Birthday Katha !! Tumhaara SatyaPrem ❤️ #SatyapremKiKatha @kiaraaliaadvani.” To which director Vidwans commented, “Mere Satyaprem aur Katha ♥️♥️ @kiaraaliaadvani”

Among other works, Aaryan is currently shooting his upcoming Hindi film Shehzada opposite Kriti Sanon. The film is an official remake of the Telugu film Ala Vaikunthapuramuloo. While Kiara Advani has Ram Charan starrer RC-15 and Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar starrer Govinda Naam Mera.
