Mumbai's Bandra is all prepared to ring in the New Year with magical preparation of Bandra's Reclamation area. The city now has its own Wonderland, the Bandra Wonderland, which is absolutely wonderful.
The Bandra Wonderland offers something to all ages, from small children to senior citizens. Everyone can enjoy and have fun at this Wonderland. For the Christmas and New Year celebrations, the site is decked out with gorgeous and sparkling lighting. Maharashtra Minister for Tourism, Aditya Thackeray posted a video on Twitter showcasing the gorgeous looks of the place while also inviting everyone to see the decoration and enjoy festivities safely.

The Wonderland Is Covered With Beautiful Lightings
The wonderful 'Bandra Wonderland' has different stunning lighting themes. You will see a boot house, an igloo, a reindeer, a Santa ride, a crib, a heart, and several tunnels all decorated with colourful lighting. High beam lights and laser lighting are also there. Most of the trees are also lit with different lighting and you will also find numerous selfie points at various spots.

To welcome New Year, a countdown will go on the beautiful Bandra Worli Sea Link. People won't be able to enjoy it live due to Covid 19 restrictions, but they may certainly enjoy it on digital platforms and channels. The organizers are aiming to hold much larger celebrations next year once the pandemic is over.
What's The Entry Fee?
The entry to Bandra Wonderland is absolutely free. The setup will be in place till January 2, 2022, and will close at 9 p.m. every day due to Covid-19 restrictions. However, the lighting is left on till the early hours of the morning.
Upon the entry, it is mandatory for everyone to wear a mask, maintain social distancing and take other safety precautions.

COVID-19 Restrictions In Mumbai
The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) banned all types of New Year celebrations in Mumbai on December 24 and imposed new restrictions, including prohibitory orders prohibiting gatherings of more than five people in public places from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
The measures have been imposed to avoid a possible surge in the Covid-19 cases, especially considering Christmas and New Year gathering and with a view to prevent danger to human life, health, safety and to break the chain of transmission of virus effectively, the order issued by Dr IS Chahal, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai said.
