Koffee With Karan Season 7: Maheep Kapoor Reveals About Living Through Eroding Fame

The 12th episode of Karan Johar-hosted Koffee With Karan Season 7 is all set to feature – Gauri Khan, Maheep Kapoor, and Bhavana Pandey. The episode will stream on September 22, 2022 exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar.

The conversations keep bubbling on the show as a brand new trio graces the couch. This time, the show’s host welcomes Gauri Khan, who returns to the couch after 17 years. She will be joined by close friends Kapoor and Pandey, as the duo will mark their debut on the show. Both Kapoor and Pandey recently appeared on the second season of the Netflix series The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives. Ringing in all the elements of candid humour and wit, the three women are expected to spill the beans on airport looks, Bollywood parties, and more.

Fame does not last forever and no one knows this better than celebrities. Kapoor, who is a jewellery designer, entrepreneur, and wife of Bollywood actor and producer Sanjay Kapoor seems to have been a witness to the many ups and downs. She and her family had to live through the ordeal of eroding fame which she is likely to mention in the upcoming episode. She will capture the experience in the latest episode, “There were times when Sanjay was sitting at home for years with no work. Money was tight. My kids have grown up seeing that along with the glamour and glitz.”

Being part of one of Bollywood’s biggest families also did not make life any easier. “The people around me at times did make me feel like we were the unsuccessful wing of the Kapoor family,” Kapoor added.

The trailer of the upcoming episode was released on September 19, 2022. In the 42 seconds video, Johar shared how during parties at home, as a gracious host, Shah Rukh Khan always walks a guest to their car. Gauri Khan revealed how this ‘precious’ habit sometimes annoys her.

“He is always seeing off the guest to their car. Sometimes I feel like he spends more time outside than inside the hour during parties. Then people start looking for him. It makes me feel like we are having the party outside on the road rather than inside the house!”, vented Khan.
