Jackie Shroff-Meenakshi Sheshadri, Hit Reel Couple From 90s, Reunite At Event

Actors Jackie Shroff and Meenakshi Seshadri, who have starred together in several films in the 90’s including Hero in 1983, Allah Rakha in 1986, Dahleez in 1986, Akayla in 1991 and Sachché Ká Bol-Bálá in 1989, were recently spotted together at an event in Pune. The stars were a hit-onscreen couple in the 90s.

Their picture was shared by Jackie Shroff on his Instagram handle. He captioned the picture, “Great start of a Sunday with my first leading lady, the ever graceful @meenakshiseshadriofficial ji for a Rotary function at Chandkhed.”

Fans were in awe to see the yesteryear onscreen couple together after so long. An Instagram user wrote, “The best jodi ever and i love the movie🙌.” Another user wrote “OMG😍... WHAT A MOVIE.. AND EVERGREEN SONGS... 🔥❤️.” One comment also read, “Awwwwwwww so beautiful and sweet. Sir Jackie Shroff is a legend my favourite actor of all time and Menakshi Sheshadri an iconic actress a brilliant dancer and a fabulous actress. So great to see you guys reunite after so many years. The Hindi film ‘Hero,’ featuring Jackie Shroff and Meenakshi Seshadri was released in 1983. It is a romantic action film directed by Subhash Ghai. The film also featured actors Sanjeev Kumar, Shammi Kapoor, Amrish Puri, Madan Puri, Bindu, Bharat Bhushan, Shakti Kapoor, Urmila Bhatt and Shaikh Azad among others.

Meenakshi Seshadri

Meenakshi Seshadri is a former Indian actor who left the film industry after getting married in 1995. She last played the lead role in the 1996 film Ghatak: Lethal opposite Sunny Deol.

Seshadri won the Miss India contest at the age of 17 in 1981.
