Balika Vadhu fame Avika Gor faced body issues. She did not feel confident and even broke in front of the mirror while looking at herself. Sharing her weight loss journey on Instagram, the actress wrote, “I didn't like what I saw. Big arms, legs, a well-earned belly. I had let go too much.”

Adding, she further wrote, “I got so busy judging myself & feeling bad that I didn't leave any scope for outsiders to make me feel bad. Such insecurities run in the head all the time & they make us feel tired & irritated. ”

Rupali Ganguly

Anupamaa fame Rupali Ganguly opened up about fertility issues during an interview with RJ Siddharth Kannan. She shared with the audience, "I had major thyroid issues, so your fertility count does go down. There were issues, and I did consult a lot of doctors. My son is no less than a miracle for me."

Sriti Jha is renowned for her amazing acting skills and the many characters that she has played in her career. However, very few people know that she is a melodic poet and has often recited a few of her compositions on Kommune Spoken Fest.

At one such event in Mumbai, Sriti narrated her tale - Confession of a Romantic Asexual. One of the lines of the poem read, “You can feel all the butterflies and your heart skip a beat for someone and yet not want to do it.” In the end, she sang a song composed by Backstreet Boys, “I am asexual, I am not the only one.”

In an Instagram post, Sumona Chakravarti opened up about battling endometriosis since 2011. She wrote, “Been in stage IV for the past few years now. A good eating habit, exercise & most importantly no stress is key to my well being. The lockdown has been emotionally hard for me.”

She started the post by writing, “Some days I feel guilty because boredom is a privilege. I may be unemployed & yet am able to feed my family & myself. That is a privilege. Sometimes I feel guilty. Specially when am feeling low due to pms’in. The mood swings play havoc emotionally.”

Shama Sikander

The recently married gorgeous TV actress Shama Sikander opened up about battling depression. In an interview with IANS, she said, 'That is the darkest time anybody can ever have. That is like waking up with a pandemic almost every moment and minute of your life.”

She added, “The saddest part is that you don't have any hope. A desire is something that keeps a human being alive because if we lose all desires then you don't know the purpose of your life.”
