Arshad Khan, The Blue Eyed Chaiwala From Pakistan Now Owns A Cafe In London

It was the year 2016 when a blue-eyed chai wala hailing from Pakistan became an overnight sensation on the internet after a photographer named Jiah Ali shared a photograph of him on social media and the netizens went crazy over his Greek God looks. Fast forward to 2023, the same chai wala named Arshad Khan is now making headlines yet again as he now owns a cafe in London, England as well.

The gorgeous Mr Khan who broke the internet with his striking looks in the year 2016 has now opened ‘Cafe Chaiwala’ on East London’s Ilford Lane which is an area in the city that is mainly populated by South Asians from the Indian subcontinent including India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh.

According to a press release issued by the cafe, the Ilford Lane restaurant has a traditional and cultural South Asian element going for itself and has interior decor and props, such as truck art, a hand-painted Vespa scooter, desi art laden walls and a vibe that screams modern Dhaba feels from a distance.

Commenting on the details of the cafe Arshad Khan said,  "My visit is being planned and I would love to brew tea for my loving fans. I have received thousands of requests for a London visit. Our first international Chai shop is now open on Ilford Lane and the response is massive already. With the Durrani brothers, we decided to start from Ilford Lane because it's home to a large number of Pakistanis and Indians who love Chai. I will be in London soon in person."

The Cafe Chaiwala boasts of a design, decor and delicious meals that promote South Asian culture and food and give us all the feels of a proper roadside dhaba-style chai cafe on the highways of Pakistan.
