Bigg Boss 16 Highlights: Salam Khan Grills Gautam Vig, Sumbul & Ankit

Salman Khan, the actor and host, has come with a special episode in this season of Bigg Boss Shukravaar Ka Vaar on Friday. From this season he will be coming on Fridays and Saturdays instead of the weekends. After being away from the show for the last weekend as he was down with Dengue, he began today’s episode by expressing his gratitude towards filmmaker Karan Johar who replaced him in the previous episode.

Today’s episode saw Khan schooling Gautam Singh Vig, Sumbul Toqueer Khan, and Ankit Gupta. The latter duo were cautioned for not being visible enough inside the house and the show. Khan slammed Toqueer and asked her what has she done so far on the show. "What have you done in this house? Yahan se badi-badi baatein karke gayi ki main badi strong hoon (You made tall claims here that you are very strong). You are not even visible in this house. You don’t even listen to your parents."

While asking her to get up from the couch and move back and keep doing so till she is out of the room and frame, Khan said “This is how far you are (aur aise hi utni door dikhai deti ho).” He also schooled Gupta for not playing well in the house, asked him the reason for being on the show, and accused him of playing within a limited safe space. He further told him that Gupta had taken the place of a deserving contestant and that it is time he stood up for himself and anything that is wrong in the house.

For Vig, Khan had the advice of being clear about what he wants and to express what he feels. He further explained to him how his actions especially the love angle on the show looked fake and could threaten a woman’s dignity.

Further, Khan also slammed both Shalin Bhanot and Tina Datta on speaking Hindi more along with Soundarya Sharma followed by making the house play a new slap task. It involved several questions about a contestant to be answered by the others and if the majority has no for an answer, then the contestant gets a slap.

At the end of the show, actor Katrina Kaif gave a surprise visit on the show to promote her upcoming film Phone Bhoot and said she has come as a medium between the ghosts and humans which will be unveiled in tomorrow’s episode.
