Bigg Boss 19: Highlights, Contestants and New Rules From the Grand Premiere

The show promises to bring in new twists, and rules. The premiere featured Salman Khan's impeccable humour and wit, and lots of entertainment.

The premieres aired on JioHotstar at 9 pm and later be aired on Colors TV at 10:30 pm.

Bigg Boss 19 House: Woodwork with Colourful Details

The premiere began with host Salman Khan showing viewers around the house, which had a unique construction.

There was lots of woodwork, colourful bits and more. It came with a pool, big seating areas and a kitchen. There was even a lion’s head and what looked like a bird with horns, in the architecture. Bedrooms came with double beds, but no doors.

The outdoor area was called a “rangbhoomi” or a battlefield.

Bigg Boss 19 Contestants

Soon after the house tour, contestants started entering the house. Here's how that went:

• The first contestant to enter the house (on a bike!) wasActor Ashnoor Kaur, who at 21 years old, wanted to be the youngest winner.
• The second contestant to make an appearance wasZeishan Quadri, a writer, director and actor, who'd starred in'Gangs of Wasseypur'
• Tanya Mittal, a spiritual influencer with 2.5 million followers, was the next contestant.
• Awez Darbar and Nagma Mirajkar, a couple in real life, entered as the fourth and fifth contestants.
• Nehal Chudasma, known for being on beauty pageants, was the next contestant.
• Baseer Ali and Abhishek Bajaj, TV actors, were the next two entrants. They flaunted their abs, before proceeding inside the house.
• Gaurav Khanna, a TV actor andPolish actor Natalia Janoszek were the ninth and tenth contestants.
• Pranit More, a stand-up comedian, entered the show next.
• Farrhana Bhatt, an actor and peace activist from Srinagar was the next contestant.
• Bhojpuri film actor Neelam Giri entered the house next.
• From the public contestFans Ka Faisla, Mridul Tiwari, a Youtuber defeatedShehbaz Badesha to enter the house.

Some names that are likely going to be on the show include Gaurav Khanna, Amaal Mallik, and Baseer Ali.

Some rumours even hint at WWE legend The Undertaker and boxing icon Mike Tyson making an appearance on the show.

Bigg Boss 19 Theme And Where to Watch

This year’s theme is ‘Gharwalon Ki Sarkaar’, which translates to Family’s Governance – signalling there may be more voting rights inside the house determining fates of contestants.

However, like previous years, the main power is expected to be with viewers and their votes.

Like all previous years, exciting tasks, adrenaline-fuelled tasks and dramatic fights can safely be expected to keep audiences glued to screens every night.
