Amid the pandemic Coronavirus which has jeopardised the functioning of all countries, there is one happy act that our Indian celebs have come up with. Right now Twitter is abuzz with a trending hashtag #DilSeThankYou which includes all the A-list stars like Katrina Kaif and Akshay Kumar. Some shared notes, some took up placards with the hashtag written all over. Check out what the stars had to say and what is the trend about.
The tweet is an initiative that the celebs took up, as an ode to India’s Corona Warriors — particularly Mumbai Police — who have been working tirelessly to ensure a safe city, even as Mumbai continues to be one of the worst-affected zones in the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic in India.
Akshay Kumar stressed and rightly so that police should be thanked for their service while we all are in our houses they are working hard just like the individuals working in the health industry.
He wrote with a picture of himself holding the placard: “There’s an army of people working day and night to keep us safe, our families safe. Lets together say #DilSeThankYou to them because that’s the least we can do."
The caption of the picture thanked all Corona Warriors. It read: "Name: Akshay Kumar, City: Mumbai, Mere aur mere parivaar ki taraf se…Police, Nagar Nigam ke workers, doctors, nurses, NGOs, volunteers, government officials, vendors, building ke guards ko #DilSeThankYou”
